Beamish Museum is located in the North East of England in the County of Durham, our shop can be found in the 1913 Town area.

Travelling by Road:-

If you are travelling to the Museum by road it is well sign posted from all directions.

From the North: - Take the A1 South and exit at junction 63 (Chester-le-Street) follow the A693 towards Stanley, Beamish Museum is signposted from here.

From the South: - Take the A1M North and exit at junction 63 (Chester-le-Street) follow the A693 towards Stanley, Beamish Museum is signposted from here.

From the West: - Take the A68 to Castleside and exit at the A692 then pick up the A693 toward Stanley, the museum is signposted from here.
